Cookies & preferences

The site remembers your analytics choice in local storage under callum-analytics-consent. This preference is used to apply your choice; it does not identify you for advertising.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics is loaded only after you allow it. It may set cookies whose names begin with _ga to distinguish visits and understand usage. Google Analytics’ default cookie lifetime is two years, subject to browser controls and configuration.

Analytics tracks the page path and interactions such as reading an article or opening a LinkedIn post. Subscription tokens, email addresses and query strings are excluded from page-view reporting. Advertising storage and personalisation are disabled.

Editing and confirmation

Authenticated Sanity Studio editing and signed draft previews use the services’ session mechanisms. The public newsletter confirmation process is completed only when you press the confirmation button. Opening the email link alone does not subscribe you.

You can also clear stored preferences through your browser settings. Read the privacy information for provider and contact details.
